Reasons for pump motor overload:
1. The pump shaft is not concentric with the motor shaft;
2. The rotating body does not rotate, the packing is too tight, and the sliding bearing clearance is too small;
3. The pump shaft is bent;
4. The bearing is seriously damaged;
5. The speed is too large;
6. The viscosity of the liquid is higher than the specified value;
7. The density of the liquid is higher than the specified value or there is crystallization;
8. The gap between the impeller and the pump casing is too small to cause friction.
Solution:
1. Readjust the concentricity of the pump and motor shaft;
2. Adjust the packing tightness and increase the clearance of the sliding bearing;
3. The curvature of the straightening shaft;
4. Replace the bearing;
5. Adjust the motor speed or replace the motor to meet the factory standard of the nameplate;
6. The viscosity of the diluted liquid meets the requirements of process delivery;
7. Add diluent to reduce density, and heat to eliminate crystallization;
8. Adjust the gap between the impeller and the shell to eliminate friction.
