Heavy Duty Froth Pump

As a result of the industrial process, some suspended foams may be produced during the transportation of slurry, such as flotation in ore dressing, so the ordinary slurry pump is not suitable for conveying the slurry with foam.

AF Series heavy duty froth pump is a new generation product developed on the basis of absorbing foreign advanced technology. It is widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, chemical and other sectors. Froth pump is suitable for conveying abrasive slurry which containing foam, this series of pumps can effectively eliminate foam in the slurry. In the case of insufficient incoming materials, the froth pump can still work normally, especially suitable for a variety of flotation process, which is the ideal product for conveying foam slurry.

The structure of the froth pump is divided into the transmission part, the media tank and the pump casing.

Transmissionn part: AF froth pump is adopted SP type bearing assembly. The bearing body is installed with motor seat or motor frame, which can use direct drive or indirect drive, can easily replace the belt pulley, used to change the pump speed, to meet the change of working conditions.

Media tank: the tank is made of steel or stainless steel, or lined with rubber, etc.. It is provided with a tangential inlet and overflow box, which can easily return the excess incoming material to the tank. The tangential inlet allows the material to enter the pump quickly and eliminates some of the foam.

Pump casing: the structure of froth pump casing is the same as MAH slurry pump, which is double casing structure. And its pump cover, pump casing and throat bush are interchangeable with the MAH slurry pump with same diameter. According to the different transmission medium, flow parts can be used: metal, rubber, or other non-metallic materials.
