Working Principle

The submersible sludge pump is a coaxial body of pump and motor. When pump working, the pump impeller is driven by the motor shaft to rotate, and the energy is transferred to the slurry medium to produce a certain flow velocity, which drives the solid material flow and realizes the slurry transportation.

Structural Characteristics

1. The submersible sludge pump is dry motor type. The motor is sealed by oil chamber, with mechanical seal inside, which can effectively prevent high-pressure water and impurity from entering the inner cavity of the motor.

2. In addition to the main impeller, there is a stirring impeller, which can stir the sludge deposited in the bottom into turbulence after extraction.

3. Impeller and mixing impeller and other wet end parts are made of high chromium cast steel, which is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, high drainage capacity, and is allowable for larger solid particles.

4. Motor is diving into the water, without suction limit, high rate of slag absorption, more thorough cleaning.

5. The impeller is close to the sediment surface and the concentration is controlled by the depth of submergence. The concentration of medium can be increased by adding auxiliary device when the density of medium is large.

Service Conditions of Submersible Sludge Pump

1. The temperature of the medium shall not exceed 60 °C and shall not contain flammable or explosive gases.

2. The maximum mass concentration of solid particles in the medium: Ash 45% , slag 60% .

3. Diving depth of the unit: not more than 20 meters, the minimum diving depth is based on submerged motor.

4. The working position of the unit in the medium is vertical and the upper suspension is fixed.

Application

The submersible sludge pump can be widely used in mining, power, metallurgy, coal, environmental protection and other industries to transport abrasive slurry containing solid particles. Such as metallurgical ore dressing plant slurry transport, thermal power plant hydraulic ash removal, coal washing plant slurry and heavy medium transport, dredging river, river dredging, etc. .
