If your primary AC sump pump needs replacing call us at 716-725-7016 (or Contact Us). We recommend that sump pumps be replaced every seven years, and that they be inspected annually. We serve Buffalo, West Seneca, Orchard Park, Amherst, Cheektowaga, Lancaster, Lackawanna, Depew and all of Erie County, NY and Niagara County, NY.
$499.00 Installed (plus tax). The price assumes that you live in Erie or Niagara County NY,
and additional electrical or plumbing work does not need to be done to get power to the pump
or otherwise conform to code. Every installation includes a new check valve.
We can also install a secondary battery backup pump for an additional $599.00 (plus tax).
We recommend, however, our Alarm instead.

A submersible pump is one that sits at the bottom of the sump basin. The pump is elevated a
few inches from the bottom of the sump basin to prevent heavy debris from being sucked through the pump.
As the name suggests the pump is designed to operate while submerged in water. Submersible pumps
are generally more powerful than pedestal pumps.
Here in Western NY we generally recommend that submersible pumps be used because we live in a
high demand part of the country.
A pedestal pump is one that sits above the sump basin on a pedestal. The pump motor must be kept dry because it is not sealed in a waterproof enclosure. Pedistal pumps are generally less powerful than submersible pumps and should be used in low demand environments. They generally last longer than submersible pumps.
