MILESTONE slurry pumps feature a rugged cast iron construction with replaceable wear liners available in 27% chrome white iron, rubber or poly urethane to suit a wide range of applications, slurry types and consistencies.

Gland seal
The gland seal comprises a number of soft packing, compressed in stuffing box against a protective shaft sleeve.
Expeller seal
An improvment on gland packing, there is a expeller combined with pump-out vanes on the back of the impeller. Expeller seal is kind of dynamic, dry seal.
Mechanical seal
Mechanical seals are not widely used in slurry applications. The mechanical seal consists of a stationary and rotating face pressed together under mechanical and hydraulic pressure, to prevent leakage.
