Installation of axially split pump            

1. Check whether the S-type axially split pump and motor are damaged.
2. The installation height of the water pump, plus the hydraulic loss of the suction pipeline and its speed energy, shall not be greater than the allowable suction vacuum height value specified in the sample. The foundation size shall conform to the installation size of the pump unit
3. Installation sequence:
① Place the water pump on the concrete foundation embedded with foundation bolts, use the method of adjusting the wedge-shaped cushion block between them to calibrate the level, and properly tighten the foundation bolts to prevent walking.
② Pour concrete between foundation and pump foundation.
③ After the concrete is dry and fixed, tighten the anchor bolts and recheck the levelness of S-type split pump.
④ Correct the concentricity of the motor shaft and the pump shaft. Make the two shafts in a straight line. The concentricity tolerance on the two shafts is 0.1mm, and the end clearance along the circumference is 0.3mm
After connecting the inlet and outlet water pipes and commissioning, calibrate them once respectively, which shall still meet the above requirements).
⑤ After checking that the rotation direction of the motor is the same as that of the water pump, install the coupling and the coupling pin.
4. The inlet and outlet water pipes shall be supported by another bracket instead of the pump body.
5. The joint surface between the water pump and the pipeline shall ensure good air tightness, especially the water inlet pipeline, which shall be strictly guaranteed not to leak, and there shall be no possibility of air entrapment on the device.
6. For example, when the S-type axially split pump is installed above the water inlet level, in order to start the pump, the bottom valve can be installed generally. Vacuum water diversion can also be used.
7. Generally, gate valve and check valve shall be installed between the water pump and the outlet pipeline (if the lift is less than 20 m, it can not be used), and the check valve shall be installed behind the gate valve.
The installation method mentioned above refers to the pump unit without a common base.
Install the pump with a common base, and adjust the wedge-shaped sizing block between the base and the concrete foundation to correct the level of the unit. Then pour concrete in between. The installation principle and requirements are the same as those of the unit without common base.
