6 Inch Electric Self-priming Water Pump

 

6 inch electric self-priming water pump are surface centrifugal single stage structure. It suitable for industries such as light industry, papermaking, textile, food, chemical, electrical, mining, municipal sewage engineering, and river pond aquaculture, used for pumping solid particles, fibers, pulp, and mixed suspension media.

 

 

6 inch electric self-priming water pump has special design of the pump casing and impeller that does not require the installation of foot valves or priming water. It can suction and discharge impurities containing large particle solids, with a diameter of 60% of the outlet diameter. The self suction height is 5 meters

 

Another feature of the 6inch electric self-priming pump is compact design, which makes them easy to install and operate. They are also equipped with a dry-run protection system that automatically shuts down the pump if it operates in a dry environment or runs out of liquid.
 

 

The working principle of 2inch electric self-priming pump is based on the Venturi effect. The self priming pump adopts an axial liquid return pump body structure. The pump body is composed of a suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a scroll chamber, a liquid return hole, a gas-liquid separation chamber, etc. After the pump starts normally, the impeller absorbs the liquid in the suction chamber and the air in the suction pipeline together, and mixes them in the impeller. Under the effect of centrifugal force, the liquid carries the gas to the outer edge of the scroll chamber, forming a white foam belt with a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid ring on the outer edge of the impeller. The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through a diffusion tube. At this point, due to a sudden decrease in flow rate, lighter gas is separated from the mixed gas and liquid, and the gas continues to rise and discharge through the pump outlet. After degassing, the liquid returns to the storage chamber and enters the impeller again through the reflux hole. It mixes with the gas sucked in from the suction pipeline inside the impeller and flows back to the outer edge of the impeller under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller. As this process continues in a cyclic manner, the air in the suction pipeline continuously decreases until the gas is completely absorbed, completing the self suction process, and the pump is put into normal operation.
