（1） After starting, it must be ensured that the direction of the pump shaft is consistent with the direction pointed by the arrow on the pump casing. During commissioning, the motor must be completely disconnected from the slurry pump. It is strictly forbidden to use an electric motor to drive the pump shaft to rotate in the opposite direction, otherwise parts will be damaged.

（2）Second: The pump is sealed with packing. It must be packed as required after driving. Ensure the supply of shaft seal water for sealing. It is strictly prohibited to operate without water. After driving, you should refuel according to the oil level line on the oil gauge. It is strictly forbidden to drive without oil, otherwise the bearings will be burned.

（3）Third: There should be no looseness in the fixed connection parts. The safety protection devices of each indicating instrument should be sensitive, accurate and reliable.

（4）Turning should be flexible and without abnormality.

（5） There should be no friction. Turn the shaft by hand according to the rotation direction of the slurry pump. The shaft should be able to drive the impeller to rotate. There should be no friction, otherwise the impeller clearance should be adjusted.

1. The slurry pump cannot be started

    First, check the power supply: whether the connector connection is firm; whether the switch contact is tight; whether the fuse is blown; whether the three-phase power supply is equal. If there is an open circuit, poor contact, blown fuse, or phase loss, the cause should be identified and repaired in time. Secondly, check whether it is a mechanical failure of the water pump itself. Common reasons include: the packing is too tight or the impeller and the pump body are blocked by debris; the pump shaft, bearings, and leakage reduction ring are rusted; the pump shaft is severely bent, etc. Troubleshooting methods: loosen the packing and clear the water diversion channel; disassemble the pump body to remove debris and rust; remove the pump shaft and correct it or replace it with a new pump shaft.

2.Slurry pump does not rotate

   If the solid sediment inside the volute is blocked, measures can be taken to remove the blockage.

3.The slurry pump does not absorb slurry 

   There is air in the pump body or air accumulation in the water inlet pipe, or the bottom valve is not closed tightly, the water diversion is not full, the vacuum pump packing is seriously leaking, and the gate valve or flap door is not closed tightly. Troubleshooting method: Press the water up first, then fill the pump body with water, and then turn it on. At the same time, check whether the check valve is tight and whether there is air leakage in the pipelines and joints. If air leakage is found, apply lubricating oil or mixed paint to the joints after disassembly and tighten the screws. Check the oil seal ring of the water pump shaft. If it is severely worn, replace it with a new one. The pipes are leaking water or air. Maybe the nut was not tightened tightly during installation.

4.Slurry pump heats up

Reasons: The bearing is damaged; the clearance between the rolling bearing or the bracket cover of the slurry pump is too small; the pump shaft is bent or the two shafts are not concentric; the tape is too tight; lack of oil or poor oil quality; the balance hole on the impeller is blocked, and the impeller loses balance, increasing the Big push to one side. Troubleshooting methods: Replace the bearing; remove the back cover and install a gasket between the bracket and the bearing seat; check the pump shaft or adjust the concentricity of the two shafts; adjust the tightness of the belt appropriately; add clean butter, which accounts for the bearing About 60% of the internal gap; clear the blockage in the balance hole.
