Submersible slurry pumps are widely used for mining and river sand dredging. Here we make a simple analysis on the reasons of submersible slurry pumps become weak:
1. If the submersible slurry pump is water circulation type, check whether the pump is dry working;
2. If the pipeline system is no problem, check whether the inside of pump body is worn;
3. If the submersible pump is rotary vane type, check whether there is enough fuel in the oil chamber;
4. It depends on the type and model of submersible slurry pump.
How to keep pumps work longer life?
No air leakage is allowed in the suction pipeline system of the submersible slurry pump, and the partition grid of the pump sump shall meet the particle requirements, so as to prevent large particles or long fiber materials from entering the pump and causing plug.
It is necessary to replace the wearing parts in a timely manner, maintain and assemble them correctly, and ensure the clearance is reasonable without tight color friction.
Ensure the bearing water pressure and water volume meet the requirements, and replace the packing/mechanical seal to adjust the tightness at any time, in order to cause slurry no leakage of shaft seal. And replace the shaft sleeve in time.
When replacing the bearing, make sure that there is no dust in the bearing assembly and the lubricating oil is clean. When the pump is running, the bearing temperature should not exceed 60-65℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 75℃.
The coaxiality of the motor and the submersible slurry pump shall be ensured. The elastic pad in the coupling shall be complete and correct. It shall be replaced in time after damage.
Ensure that the pump components and pipeline system are installed correctly, firmly and reliably.
