What cause submersible sewage pump’s motor burning?
Sometimes the motor of a qualified submersible sewage pump can be burnout, why?
1.pump installation
Installation people put pump into water by pulling the cable not the pull ring. Pulling cable may damage cable sealing and cause water flow into pump body.
2.Too much impurities, fibrous, big size particle contained in the liquid.
Anti-corrosion submersible sewage pump is not suitable for sludge impurities.Sludge will block pump body and cause motor burnout.
3.Pump run dry
Submersible sewage pump is cooling by liquid. If liquid level below than 2/3 of pump body, motor may burnout because of high temperature.
4.Overcurrent
Overcurrent can cause motor burnout. Such as pump actual head is much higher or much lower than selected model’s head; Liquid concentration too large; Three-phase current unbalance etc.
Please try to avoid these reasons to increase of pump service life.
