Correct assembly and pre oiling of the bearing assembly of the submerged slurry pump will extend the service life without failure, prevent the water and other external substances from entering and provide convenience for comprehensive maintenance, and carefully clean the labyrinth with lubricating grease, which can prevent the dirt from entering and prolong the service life of the bearing.
The maintenance personnel shall keep correct judgment, open the bearing box regularly (no more than 12 months) to check the bearing and lubrication, and determine the next inspection time.
The number and quantity of adding lubricating grease shall be considered according to a variety of factors, including the number of revolutions, bearing specifications, working time, interruption time and external conditions, such as: external temperature and operating temperature, splash degree and existing dirt.
If it is necessary to add lubricating grease or add lubricating grease to special parts regularly under abnormal environment, a lubricating oil nozzle can be installed beside the bearing assembly of submerged slurry pump, which is not the highest requirement. Before use, the oil nozzle must be cleaned to prevent dirt from entering into the bearing during lubrication, and regular small amount of lubrication is better than regular large amount of lubrication It is better to slide, and too much oil is not allowed on the bearing.
The direct effect of excessive lubrication in the bearing of submerged slurry pump is that the bearing is overheated due to eddy current generated by lubricating grease, which should be prevented in particular. If the bearing turns too hot after the grease is added, the fault is probably due to too much grease. Under no circumstances will there be any benefit from overfilling.
Most of the pump's bearings operate in the range of low revolution, however, there is still the possibility of damage due to excessive lubrication, especially when the bearings are small. Therefore, judgment and experience will be the final determinants in the development of regular lubrication procedures.
At the beginning of operation, it is necessary to observe the bearing frequently and carefully record any abnormal conditions related to temperature and cleanliness.
Under normal conditions of continuous operation (the operating temperature of the bearing shall not exceed the temperature that makes the lubricating grease lose its lubricating ability), the data listed below can be used.
