The Maintenance of multistage pump
1. Check whether the multistage pump pipeline and joint was loose or not. Turn the multistage pump by hand to see if it is flexible.
2.Keep the bearing’s oil level at the normal position, without being too high or low, and supplement the lubricating oil on time in case of being too low.
3.Screw down the water diversion plug of the multistage pump to prime water into the pump.
4.Make sure the motor moves in the correct direction.
5. It is necessary to disassemble the pump completely, drying the water, and greasing the rotating parts and joints when the multistage pump is out of service for a long time.
6.Try to control the flow and head of the multistage pump within the range indicated on the label, so as to ensure that the multistage pump operates at the highest efficiency point and reach the maximum energy-saving effect.
7.During the operation of multistage pump, the bearing temperature shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 35˚C, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80˚C.
8.Stop the pump immediately and check the cause if any abnormal sound is found in the multistage pump.
9.Close the gate valve of outlet pipe, outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge.
