There are many reasons for the failure of the slurry pump startup
First of all, it is necessary to determine the specific cause of the slurry pump failure in order to treat the disease, then make corresponding treatment for the cause
There are three main aspects: the pump does not produce water, the motor cannot start normally, and the pump rotates in reverse
1. No water emerges after the slurry pump rotates
If the rotation is normal but there is no water, the possible causes are:
1) The suction port is blocked by debris, and the filter device should be installed after being cleared;
2) Leakage in the suction pipe or instrument may be caused by leakage in the weld seam, there are holes or cracks in the pipe, and the gasket seal at the joint is not good;
3) The water absorption height is too high, it should be reduced
4) Cavitation in the impeller;
5) The amount of water injected into the pump is insufficient;
6) There is air in the pump, and the method of emptying is to close the pump outlet regulating valve and open the loop valve;
7) The resistance of the water outlet is too large, the length of the water pipe should be checked or the water outlet pipe should be cleaned;
8) The speed of the water pump is not enough. The speed of the water pump should be increased.
2. The motor cannot start normally
If the motor is used as the prime mover, first turn the motor cooling fan by hand to see if the rotation is flexible
If it is flexible, it may be that the starting capacitor is invalid or the capacity is reduced. When replacing the starting capacitor with the same value
If it doesn't turn, it means that the rotor is stuck. When cleaning the rust, add lubricating grease, or remove the foreign matter from the stuck rotor
3. Slurry pump reverse rotation
When encountering such situations, most of them appear in the first use
At this time, it should be stopped immediately. If it is a motor, any two phases of the three-phase power supply should be replaced.
The direction of rotation of the pump can be changed. If the diesel engine is used as the power, the connection method of the belt should be considered
