In the end of January, COVID-19 was breakout in China first. After about one-month quarantine, under the strict control of China government, and the close cooperation of the whole society, situation of Coronavirus epidemic was becoming better day by day. Our factory resumed work since beginning of March with all necessary precautions taken. We informed our clients about the news of resume work and orders production situation. As the effect of virus, production capacity in China is limited. Milestone Pump Company placed orders for raw material earlier and got higher priority when getting raw material, and so could also plan our capacity better in advance.
However, with the spreading of the virus worldwide, we saw it was also getting more and more severe in most of countries. We understood in different countries the government may take different measures due to the different system and culture. But for every individual, the risk is the same, and the life is the same precious. Since we experienced this earlier, we shared some tips with our customers how to protect themselves and what to do during lockdown time.
By now, in most European, Asian and Oceanian countries, the number of new cases has hit a summit, and recoveries are getting more and more, deaths are less and less. Many countries announced the time for finish lockdown. We remain positively confident that the COVID-19 outbreak will be eventually contained with our joint efforts shortly. According to the SARS experience, we hold a positive attitude that the consumer demand would be rebounded as a V shape in the next two quarters, as consumers would ahead with the spending held back by the virus outbreak once restrictions are relieved.
