How to deal with unstable flow of slurry pump?
The reasons for the flow instability of slurry pump are as follows:
1. Air leakage of suction pipe or bottom valve or blockage of water inlet are common reasons for insufficient flow. It is necessary to check the air leakage source of suction pipe and bottom valve and block them in time, or clean up the sludge or blockage at the water inlet.
2. If the voltage is too low, the speed of slurry pump will be reduced and the flow of slurry pump will be insufficient. At this time, the power supply voltage should be checked and adjusted in time.
3. If there is air leakage in the pipeline or there is air in the pump body, the air in the pipeline should be discharged in time.

4. Serious wear of sealing ring or impeller will also lead to unstable flow of slurry pump, and the seriously worn sealing ring and impeller should be inspected and replaced in time.
5. The water depth of bottom valve is insufficient, which leads to air entering during pumping. Therefore, the depth of bottom valve should be adjusted according to the suction head of slurry pump.

6. If the slurry pump works normally for a period of time after starting, but the current gradually decreases and the flow is obviously insufficient. After restarting the normal operation for a period of time, this problem still occurs. Most of the reasons are that the slurry or other debris are accumulating in the suction pipe, resulting in steam erosion of the slurry pump. If the slurry pump is more serious, there will be a large noise in the slurry pump and the pump head vibrates obviously. At this time, it should be thorough Clean the forebay and suction pipe, reduce the length below the elbow, or increase the mixing device to reduce the slurry settlement.
