Failure and troubleshooting of mud pump

Common faults of mud pump and Troubleshooting:
Mud pump fault 1: pump does not absorb water
Causes: insufficient filling and water diversion, air in the pump can not be discharged, air leakage in the suction pipe, large clearance between the front liner and the impeller
Solution: continue to pour water, check whether the pipeline leaks, adjust the clearance between impeller and front lining plate
Mud pump fault 2: slow water supply
Cause: the clearance between the front lining plate and the impeller is large, the outlet pipe cannot seal the air, and the exhaust is full
Solution: adjust the gap, adjust the outlet pipe and install the vacuum device
Mud pump fault 3: low outlet pressure and flow
Cause: there is air in the pump, the clearance between impeller and front lining plate is large, clutch is not closed tightly, impeller or lining plate is worn
Solution: empty the air in the pump, adjust the clearance, adjust the clearance of clutch friction plate, replace the impeller or lining plate
Mud pump fault 4: pump vibration
Cause: the pump shaft is not concentric with the diesel engine (or motor), the impeller is unbalanced, and the bearing is damaged
Solution: adjust the concentricity, balance the impeller and replace the bearing
Mud pump fault 5: impeller journal wear fast
Causes: low head of high-pressure water pump, packing dislocation, pump shaft and rear cover are not concentric
Solution: replace the high pressure pump higher than the lift of mud pump, replace the packing and adjust the concentricity
Mud pump fault 6: pump wear fast
Causes: poor construction environment (large particles), long transportation distance and long water inlet pipeline
Solution: replace sand field, add afterburner, shorten the length of water inlet pipe and reduce cavitation
