Correct operation procedure of centrifugal pump
Part 1
The normal operation method of centrifugal pump is as follows:
1. Inspection before startup of centrifugal pump
1) After the maintenance of the motor, check whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct before connecting the coupling.
2) Check whether the installation of pump inlet and outlet pipelines and auxiliary pipelines, flanges and valves meet the requirements, whether the foundation bolts and ground wires are in good condition, and whether the coupling is installed properly.
3) Check whether the turning is normal.
4) Check whether the lubricating oil level is normal, no oil filling, and check the oil quality of the lubricating oil (grease).
5) Open each cooling water valve and check whether the pipeline is smooth. Pay attention that the cooling water should not be too large or too small, which will cause waste. If it is too small, the cooling effect will be poor. Generally, the cooling water flow is linear.
6) Open the inlet valve of the pump, close the outlet valve of the pump, and open the hand valve of the pressure gauge.
7) Check the sealing condition of the pump and the opening of the oil seal.
Note: warm up the hot oil pump evenly before starting.
2. Start of centrifugal pump
1) Fully open the inlet valve, close the outlet valve and start the motor.
2) When the pump outlet pressure is greater than the operating pressure, check that all parts operate normally, and gradually open the outlet valve.
3) When starting the motor, if the motor cannot be started or there is abnormal sound, the power supply shall be cut off immediately for inspection, and the motor can be started only after the fault is eliminated.
4) When starting, pay attention not to face the coupling, so as to prevent flying out and hurting people.
3. Pump stop operation of centrifugal pump
1) Slowly close the outlet valve of the pump.
2) Cut off the power to the motor.
3) Close the hand valve of pressure gauge.
4) After shutdown, cooling water can't be stopped immediately, and can't be stopped until the temperature of pump drops below 80 ℃.
5) Close the inlet valve and vent the pump body as required.
